They are not superheroes, yet they move the Czech Republic forward. Come get inspired

Would you say that Jakub Strach aka NobodyListen, who was the first Czech musician to put together a special DJ set for Apple, hates having to deal with financial matters? Or that the influencer Tereza Salte, who got the Czech Ministry of Health to guarantee that parents will be able to spend more time with seriously ill children in the hospital, is not good at time management? They are the same people as anyone else, yet they are not afraid to move the Czech Republic forward. Let yourself be inspired and come to our Crunch Live event, where they will talk about what they do and how they do it. The popular Crunch podcast with Čestmír Strakatý is going out of the studio among the people.

“I would advise young people not to be afraid. In order to change the world, they founded startups and pushed ideas that are not obvious at first glance, thus helping the Czech Republic and its future.” says the third guest of the evening, Michal Pěchouček. He has spent his entire career dealing with artificial intelligence and ensuring that the Czech Republic manages to profit from it. But even he, who knows how to look into the future, has his weaknesses, he is said to be unable to concentrate on details. However, this does not prevent him from knowing where artificial intelligence currently has the greatest use, whether we are at the peak of the AI hype or how Czech business and scientific research will progress in the coming years. On social networks, Tereza Salte shared her story from the surgical intensive care unit, where the medical staff did not allow her to spend the night with her young son, who was diagnosed with a serious oncological disease. The open description of the situation, which is not entirely unusual in Czech hospitals, led to the modification of the methodology of the Ministry of Health, which is supposed to enable children and parents to manage difficult times together.

Was it difficult to oppose the current practice publicly? Can influencers be activists? How to use social networks responsibly? And what does he think is moving the Czech Republic forward now? “In our companies, we give mothers the opportunity to take maternity leave, because they are wonderful employees, and tailor positions for them,” Salte thinks as the first answer. According to her, the most important thing that she can put into projects is energy, thanks to which everything moves much faster and higher.

And which strong feature led Jakub Strach, aka NobodyListen, to the global music scene? “Probably hard work, I hate nagging and wasting time, so I get up and work.” Is it a superpower? Or is it really up to each of us if we can influence something? Come get inspired.
