This year’s Metronome Prague 2024 will host the singer Ray, Milky Chance or Michael Kiwanuka

Raye’s first time in Prague

Singer and songwriter Ray has been taking the music scene by storm in recent years, but before she broke through as a singer, she wrote songs for successful artists such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, John Legend or Ellie Goulding. Her 2022 single Escapism became very popular on the social network TikTok and topped the charts. In the following year, the composition enjoyed even greater success Prada from her debut album My 21st Century Blues. This year, she made history at the Brit Awards when she turned seven nominations into six awards, the most in history. Among other things, she was the first woman to win the award for best composer. In addition to Ray, festival visitors can also look forward to other British performers.

On the program are famous names from all over the world such as Michael Kiwanuka, Tom Grennan, The Last Dinner Party, The Blaze, Marc Rebellet, Mute, Milky Chance, Dadi Freyr, Allysha Joy or CMAT. The planned birthday celebration is definitely worth mentioning Michael Kocaba performance by a Czech rising star Sofiana MedjMedj with friendsa concert by a local indie-pop group Lake Malawithe band We Are Home whose NobodyListen, Annette X and a Czech rapper Horns.

What is remarkable about the seventh year is that, even though it is a young program, it quite naturally follows on from the musical events that Metronome Prague has already offered in the past.

Courage and the future

An international team of professionals from the music industry works on the creation of the program for Metronome Prague, which makes it possible to bring a lot of current news to Prague. In addition to the main music program, the Metronome festival also focuses on creating a quality non-musical programwith which they are intertwined this year themes of courage and the future.

Podcast stage and a rich accompanying program

Visitors to the Metronome Prague festival can also look forward to: special podcast stage, which will be full of interesting personalities and topics. “I appreciate the fact that I will perform my show at the Metronome Prague festival and I am looking forward to it. This year, the Metronome Prague Festival also teamed up with the new student project Creative Campuswhich ensures theater program. An integral part is also art. Visitors will be able to view the works of sculptors Aneta Filipová and Michal Gabriel in the Křižík pavilions. Michal Škapa will then specially create a work for this year’s seventh edition of the Metronome Prague festival.

An integral part of the festival is the dedicated NGO zone non-profit organizations, who will present their work here through various activities. It will also be part of the festival debate tent Opera, where a series of debates on the future will take place every day. They will be prepared for the smallest visitors sport activities, plays or theater.

The most varied offer

It cannot be missed in the festival grounds either food zone, in which visitors will find the most varied food and drink offer in the entire festival sphere. They can treat themselves too draft beer in a glass in one of the beer tents. Fast service in bars and pubs is a matter of course. A new cash register system from Speedlo will operate throughout the gastro zone in cooperation with festival partner ČSOB, so there is no need to carry cash, payment cards will take care of everything, including receiving a refund for a prepaid cup.
