When Apple launched Apple TV+ in 2019, it tried to attract as many customers as possible to it – for this reason, it initially offered it to all new users with the purchase of any Apple device for free for the first year. Later, it shortened this interval to three months and limited the use of the free period to the first activation only.
The ways to long-term free use of Apple TV+ have significantly decreased, but from time to time an offer will appear that will allow a longer taste – in January of this year, for example, due to the promotion of the film Plan for the Family, Apple offered two months for free (without purchasing a device, it is only a week) and now comes another irresistible action.
Xbox owners get 3 months of Apple TV+ for free
This time, Apple is targeting owners of Xbox consoles, offering them three months of Apple TV+ for free. Don’t look for any hooks in it, you just need to own an Xbox console and download the Apple TV+ application to it through the official store. A three-month free trial will be offered to you at first launch, and importantly, it doesn’t matter whether you create a new account or log in to your existing one, or one where the free trial was previously activated.
Apple TV+ is one of the smaller streaming platforms, but due to its focus, it has no shortage of customers. The giant from Cupertino decided to go the route of its own series and films, which you simply cannot find anywhere else, and at the same time managed to get star actors and directors for its projects, so there is no need to worry about quality. After all, this is proven, for example, by the series Ted Lasso (ČSFD: 87%), The Morning Show (ČSFD: 82%), Silo (ČSFD: 81%) or the film Killers of the Moonlight (ČSFD: 79%), which arrived on the service relatively recently.
The promotion includes all Apple TV+ content excluding the MLS Season Pass service. To take advantage of the current offer, you must activate Apple TV+ on your Xbox console by July 7 this year.
