It happened on March 23, 2004. The first Czech endless series invaded Czech living rooms via television screens Family bonds. A cross between a soap opera and a telenovela, which dealt with “everyday problems of ordinary people”, in its heyday it was regularly watched by around two million viewers.
It aired on Prima without three months for three years, during which 264 episodes divided into three series were created. In the first one, the representatives of the main characters Tomáš Krejčíř (Adam Rubeš) and Klára Jandová (Eva Pokorná) spent most of their time in the studio in Prague’s Holešovice, who also eventually got married in the series.
The father of a large family and successful businessman František Rubeš was played by Jan Kačer, his serial wife Jiřina was played by Lenka Termerová and, for example, she transformed herself into a monster, as she called her role Dana Morávková alias Andrea Lišková.
“Family ties have been extremely important in my acting career. I loved them. “Prima started a series of endless series with them, so it is leading in this regard among televisions,” recalled the actress in an interview for Deník.
“It was a great role, I could have a blast in it. Andrea really wasn’t a very good girl – she was all about money, she always got what she wanted by any means, she loved her father and her daughter, but she didn’t respect her husbands and lovers at all. The audience saw me in that role twice a week, and some gradually began to think that I behaved like Andrea in private as well. So I received letters and emails from them containing all kinds of wishes and requests. Once certain parents even reached out to me with an absurd demand that I arrange for their child to study at a university,” added Morávková.
In the second series of Family Bonds, they played the central pair Saša Rashilov and Renata Prokopová-Visnerová. In the following one, the central couple of lovers were cut by Daniel Bambas and Hana Holišová. From January 2007, due to legal disputes surrounding the production of its third season, the series was broadcast under the name Very Fragile Relationships. And with the number of 281 episodes, it even surpassed its predecessor.

Street (2005 – present)
He is the record holder of Czech serial production Street, which began airing on September 5, 2005 and is still available on Nova. The first daily endless series continues to churn out new episodes. It is broadcast from Monday to Friday and the number of its episodes is unstoppably approaching the number 4700. It follows that entire generations of actors have passed through the Street.

Tell (2009 – 2013)
Favorite retro series premiered on Czech Television from August 31, 2009 to June 14, 2013. Its plot takes place in Czechoslovakia and is set in real historical events that influence the stories of individual characters. The atmosphere of the time was always evoked at the beginning of each episode by excerpts from the Czechoslovak film weeklies of the time.
The story of the individual episodes is told by Honzo Dvořák. Thanks to his memories, the saga of the Dvořák family unfolds before the audience from 1964 to the beginning of the 21st century.
Narrate had five series and a total of 106 sequels. In addition, nine special episodes were filmed, broadcast under the name Osudy, which were devoted to the life stories of secondary characters.
Roman Vojtek and Andrea Kerestešová (now Růžičková) appeared in the main roles. Important characters were also played by Svatopluk Skopal, Veronika Freimanová, Nina Divíšková, Betka Stanková, Jaromír Nosek and Ondřej Veselý.

Journeys Home (2010 – 2015)
First episode of the series Prime TV, which brought viewers 359 episodes in four series, was directed by Jiří Adamec on August 5, 2010. It happened in a film studio in Prague’s Pod Harfou Street. Guilt and grievances from the past played a significant role in the family saga, which the characters of the new generations paid for.
The journeys home mainly followed the fates of the members of the Bernát family, whose head was the strict father MUDr. Rudolf Bernát (Alois Švehlík). Jitka Smutná portrayed his patient wife, who endures many cruelties from her despotic and unfaithful husband.
During the five years the series was broadcast, Miroslav Etzler, Petra Horváthová, Milan Bahúl, Ladislav Hampl, Iva Kubelková, Tereza Kostková, Veronika Jeníková, Pavla Vitázková, Linda Rybová and other well-known actors also appeared in it.

Sunny (2020 – 2022)
Farm on Sunny is the place where the Cinderella family makes the best goat cheese and runs a family guesthouse and pub. After the unexpected death of Cinderella’s father, a family inheritance battle flares up between the sisters Týna and Sylva… That’s how the creators enticed another of Prima’s titles, which saw 160 sequels.
In February 2020, the relationship series had the highest documented viewership on the Internet and on television in our country. Interestingly, on Slovakia Sunny burned. JOJ TV had to withdraw it after four broadcasts due to low viewership.

ZOO (2022 – present)
The first episode of another relationship series, Prima, which this time takes place in a zoo environment, premiered on January 13, 2022. Currently, the third season of the show, which is popular with viewers, is finishing, which will be completed by the 186th episode.
The main heroines ZOO they are the young heiress of the glass empire Sidonie Anna Novotná (Michaela Pecháčková) and the nanny in the family of the judge Viktorie Janečková (Eva Salvatore Burešová). While Sidonie marries studying at a prestigious school in America so that she can start working in a zoo without her parents’ knowledge, Viktorie deals with her personal life and tries to combine it with her love of singing…
