He literally wrote this: “I can only wish the United States of America most sincerely to plunge into a new civil war as quickly as possible. Which, I hope, will be radically different from the North-South war of the 19th century, and will be fought using airplanes, tanks, artillery, multiple rocket launchers, all kinds of rockets and other weapons. And which will finally lead to the inglorious collapse of the evil evil empire of the 21st century, the United States of America.”

In this reaction to the decision of the American congressmen, Medvedev, but in fact the Kremlin, surprisingly revealed the cards. Moscow wants civil war wherever it wants to harm and subsequently rule again, or at least have considerable influence, within those societies ruled by people who are not in favor of the Russian aggressive state.

However, the first stage of a civil war is not the planes and tanks that Medvedev dreams of and with which US citizens are supposed to destroy each other so that Russia can march on the weakened territory. It is preceded by a civil war in cold form. And she really rages in many places.

The results are different from the Kremlin’s point of view. Hungary and Slovakia are theirs, but if we look at Hungarian and Slovak streets full of protesting people or fantastic tension Slovaks who are not going to reconcile with Ficostán, we see that the cold civil war continues. Poland and the Czech Republic are not Moscow’s, but attempts to turn things around do not stop both with the northern neighbors and, of course, in our regions.

Andrej Babiš acts not only against the government, but also against the Czech Republic the army. Tomio Okamura, with strongly pro-Russian attitudes, wants to the next one government. How similar patterns of behavior can be assessed at a time when a war is being waged against a country, albeit (yet) without planes and tanks, is for everyone to evaluate for themselves.

The conflict reflected in all this is global. The most developed part of the world could continue to develop and improve the lives of its inhabitants, but this requires two things: relying primarily on one’s own abilities and diligence, and giving up certainties in exchange for the possibility of free development. The part of the world’s population that rejects these demands naturally resists and wants to turn development back, if possible, to dictatorships.

Russia is being murdered in this war, and Russia is being murdered in Ukraine, so the way out there can only be bloody. We are still in the cold phase. This means quite concretely that, for now, it is not possible to let the lovers of historical retrogression into power by overvoting in the elections. Simple but fateful.
