A six-year-old autistic man has disappeared from Germany without a trace. Hundreds of police officers with state-of-the-art technology are looking for him

“The boy recently learned how to open a locked door. Apparently that’s how he got out,” a police spokesman told Focus weekly. The father immediately informed the police and a search began for the boy. Hundreds of rescuers combed the area around the boy’s house. Unfortunately, there is a large wooded area nearby.

When Arian disappeared from the house, he was wearing nothing but dragon sweatpants, a sweater, and socks. Temperatures have dropped below zero for the past two days, which is life-threatening for a child in light clothing.

In addition to hundreds of firefighters and police officers, the German Red Cross, the German Life Saving Society and a number of volunteers joined the search. A thermal imaging helicopter, search dogs, drones and a sonar boat were also deployed.

“Unfortunately at this time we have no leads, no leads as to where the boy could be,” a police spokesman said early Wednesday morning. Additional riot police forces were called in for the morning.

Police said Tuesday that the boy is autistic and unresponsive to speech. “This makes the situation and the search for him very difficult. We have to search very carefully, we have to assume that he will not contact us himself,” said the police spokesman.

Police urged residents of the city to check footage from private cameras to see if the boy was caught on footage.
