Easter at the Pilsen Zoo
The Lüftnerka estate is preparing a four-day Easter celebration in the Pilsen zoo. Every day from 10 am to 5 pm the program will be full of examples of Easter traditions, you can look forward to painting eggs, knitting pom-poms, baskets and more. Every day at 2 p.m., a folklore performance awaits visitors. There will be a traditional competitive learning trail.

Easter express
On Friday, March 29, they are from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m ready for rides of the historic motor car 810.100 on the route Plzeň hl.n. – Pilsen-Křimice and back. At the Krimice railway station, you can visit the museum, view model railways and the unique exhibition “Plzen Airmen in the Fight for Freedom”. After that, you can take the Krimick minibus to the Krimick Castle, where the Easter Fair will take place in the courtyard. at which, for example, the Pilsen MLS Folk Ensemble will perform.
Easter at Kašperk Castle
The castle will open its gates, thus starting the tourist season on Good Friday, March 29. Among other things, you can look forward to, for example, the popular music group Benedictus in the courtyard, led by conductor Milan Karpíšek, who interpret medieval music on period instruments in an engaging and entertaining way. Throughout Easter, the castle is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Welcoming spring in Manětín
On the occasion of the opening of the 2024 visitor season, come and soak up the Easter atmosphere in the courtyard of Manětín Castle on Saturday, March 30. A fun game for children will take place in the castle interiors (search for Easter items with a secret and a reward). In the courtyard, in addition to Easter eggs and decorations, you can also make a pom pom. You will also have the opportunity to buy Easter sweets or lambs.
Zbiroh Castle Easter Fair
Folk music, handicrafts, games for children, but especially Easter customs and traditions, festive spring delicacies and green beer – this is what Zbiroh Castle has to offer for Easter. In addition, special tours of the castle courtyard and tower are prepared for visitors. So come and enjoy White Saturday, April 30, from 11 a.m. Free entry.
Easter in Újezda
The traditional Easter will take place March 31 from 10 a.m on Karel Panuška square in Újezda. In the center of the village heritage zone, workshops will be prepared for knitting pom-poms and decorating eggs and gingerbread. A chocolate egg hunt is again being prepared for children. There will also be a competition for the prettiest painted egg. Adults can also compete, the jury will choose the best Easter stuffing. There will be a theatrical performance, and the folklore group Jiskra will provide the Easter atmosphere. Free entry.
Easter at Kozel Castle
Celebrate Easter with a unique combination of traditions, crafts and great food at the Easter Fair at Kozel Castle. Easter Sunday and Monday thus they promise a pleasant experience for all age categories. Artisans will present their art and offer theirs
handmade products from handwoven textiles to ceramics and jewellery. There will also be sellers of excellent food, homemade cheeses, cold meats and lemonades. Children can enjoy riding the period carousel, participate in various games. The fair takes place on both days from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Concert in Kladruby Monastery
The Easter concert of the early music ensemble Cavall Kladruby and the chamber choir Cantus Stříbro in the monastery church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary takes place March 31 from 3 p.m. Performers: Lenka Tegiová Kořínková (transverse flute), Ivana Bártová (transverse flute), Jan Esterle (organ).
Easter Kašperské Hory
Easter markets with a rich accompanying program are held in Kašperské Hory on Sunday, March 31 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A craft fair will be held in the square and there will also be musical performances, a gastro show and the popular competition for the best Easter stuffing.
