The ceremonial meeting on the occasion of awarding the winning organizations was hosted by the Regional Office of the Zlín Region. “I am very grateful that even private companies perceive the need to behave in a socially responsible manner. The activities of the Albert Foundation are an example of this. I am even more pleased that it is about supporting children who have a more difficult start in life,” said Hana Ančincová, the statutory deputy of the governor responsible for the area of social affairs.

Bertíci offers a unique opportunity for the public to learn about the activities and specific stories of organizations in the region. “Our customers, to whom we owe a lot of thanks, supported projects in the Zlín region from the immediate area focused on tutoring and professional education, as well as sports and other hobbies,” explained Peter Daňo, national director of Albert hypermarkets.

“We try to support every child who shows an interest in an activity, because hobbies develop not only the body, but also the spirit. We use the funds to pay for our children’s sports and leisure activities. We have great athletes who are actively involved in football, floorball, boxing, athletics and ice hockey. But we also have children focused on art or music,” described Markéta Šrámková, director of the Valašská Meziříčí Children’s Home.
