“I can confirm that the Department of Economic Crime of the KŘP of the Central Bohemian Region is conducting criminal proceedings on suspicion of committing the crime of unauthorized business. As part of this criminal proceeding, funds in the order of several tens of millions of crowns were secured these days,” police spokeswoman Vlasta Suchánková confirmed information about the case to Novinka on Friday.
According to her, the mentioned examination resulted from the already ongoing criminal proceedings and the main trial in the case of murder.
IRozhlas, referring to the documents it had access to, said that after the leader of the sect, who died in the fall of 2022, two accounts remained with one of the banks, in which he accumulated 133,924,049 crowns.

He took 500 crowns in cash from clients for one session, and he accepted patients individually and in groups. Some clients described that over 400 people could visit him in his apartment per week.

He was also given large sums by the members of the sect themselves – because they wanted to redeem themselves from their sins, as he urged them, or because he promised them a better return.

According to the indictment, the 50-year-old healer was allegedly murdered at his own request in an apartment in Hájy, Prague, the year before last October.
