Dutchman Mohamed Ihattaren ended up in Slavia without playing a single competitive match for Prague. The Vršovice first league club stated on its website that it prematurely parted ways with the 22-year-old offensive midfielder by mutual agreement.

Slavia signed Ihattaren in December in an attempt to revive his career. The former great talent and former midfielder of PSV Eindhoven, Juventus Turin and Ajax Amsterdam has not played a match since the summer before last year. In Eden, he signed a one-year contract with a three-year option and made up for the lack of training. He did not intervene in any match.

“The decision to terminate the contract was made by mutual agreement. Among other things, the player expressed his desire to focus on his career within his immediate environment and family, Slavia fully supported him in this choice.” said the people of Prague.

Ihattaren has a controversial reputation. In January, the Dutch media reported that he would go to trial for assault and threats from the past two years. Slavia stated that they would request more information from the player. She added that if Ihattaren was convicted of criminal activity, he would not be able to continue in the Vršovice club.
