China’s technological giant Xiaomi it doesn’t just make smartphones and related devices. A substantial part of its assortment consists of household products, whether it’s a microwave, a deep fryer or even a lint remover. Now the manufacturer has introduced a new one on the domestic market smart clothes dryer.
Xiaomi has boasted of similar devices several times in the past, namely the ceiling dryers of the Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 1S series. New with label Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer Pro like its predecessors, it can not only remove moisture from clothes, but also brighten it, thus cleverly solving potential aesthetic problems. After all, to have a classic light on the ceiling and more 35 kilogram construction, although it is only 9.8 cm thick when folded, it may not look very good. The brightness level can be adjusted via the mobile app. However, the product also comes with a classic remote control.
The dryer itself offers 42 drying holes, thanks to which he can deal with a large amount of laundry at once. Xiaomi states that the device does not consume a single kilowatt-hour of electricity per month, and supposedly emits noise up to 55 dBso it won’t disturb your sleep too much.
The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer Pro is currently in the crowdfunding campaign phase, and it will go out to the Chinese 1,199 yuan (about 3,900 CZK in conversion).
