Microtransactions in single-player games are usually completely useless, or even go against the grain of the game. Creators, for example, implement passports, in which you are so-called to grind, and just try to facilitate this activity, of course for a real pension.

The last time Capcom came under fire was when, first with Dragons Dogma 2, it received a very late rating from reviewers, but then activated microtransactions left by the earthquake on a daily basis. According to Oekvan, the frustration of the game was also reflected in the ratings, for example on Steam and various rating aggregators.

Piotr Nielubowicz, the financial editor of CD Projekt Red, spoke about microtransactions, who ruled out that microtransactions would appear in their games for one game in the future. He only hinted that they can appear in multiplayer titles.

We don’t see a place for microtransactions in single-player games, but we don’t rule out that we will use this in the future in a multi-game project, Nielubowicz responded to a question on the Stockwatch.pl website.

What about CD Projekt current angle? For some time, they have been working on a remake of the first Zaklnae (the period of the unit review). Under the name of Polaris, the creation of the new Zaklna, planned as a trilogy, the first part of which could be released in 2026, and the creators want to close the series in 2032. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5.

Behind the sign of Sirius is the creation of Zaklna, which should appeal to all levels of games and offer a combination of single-player and multiplayer games. Project Orion is the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and Project Hadar is a completely new character.
