Prague – Railway traffic in Prague between the main station and Libní stopped for almost an hour in the afternoon due to people throwing stones at the trains. They did not cause any damage, they fled the scene. The police are looking for them. This follows from the information of the Railway Administration and from the spokesman of the Prague police, Jan Rybanský.

Traffic on one of the main lines in Prague stopped in the afternoon rush hour after 5:00 p.m. “Operation resumed,” said Martin Kavka, spokesman for the Railway Administration, before 18:00.

Young people threw stones at passing trains, Rybanský said. “According to our information, no train should have been damaged. The youths ran away from the scene,” added the police spokesman.

Last May, stones, sticks and metal nets on the tracks stopped train traffic from the Praha-Čakovice station towards Neratovice for about two hours. At the time, the police detained three children aged around ten, who apparently placed the objects on the track. The train did not run into the obstacle, the driver was able to stop it.
