Zen 5 Epyc: 160 Cores and 500W TDP Confirmed for Top Model(s)

Just like before the release of Core Epics Zen 4so again this time the leaker YuuKi_AnS published part of the specifications of the upcoming AMD server processors that will emerge from the architecture Zen 5. However, he himself adds in one breath that the list may not be complete, which raises questions that we will get to shortly.

Partial specifications of the Epyc series Turnip (YuuKi_AnS)

So far, most sources have agreed that Epyc Turnip with cores Zen 5 is coming as standard in a 128-core configuration and a version with cores Zen 5c (also called Turin-dense) can offer up to 192 cores. However, the table ends with the 160-core model, so the questions arise: Is the 192-core model missing from the list? Or is it no longer up to date and will stay at 160 cores max? Or is the situation even different?

It is also not clear where exactly the border between the models lies Zen 5 and Zen 5c. Parameters such as clock frequency for boost or L2 cache capacity would give the answer, but YuuKi_AnS doesn’t have those exactly (like a monster).

The portfolio therefore ranges from at least 8 to 160 cores with L3 cache capacity from 32 to 640 MB and TDP from 155 to 500 watts. All the models listed, regardless of the number of cores and their version, are designed for LGA6096 (SP5), so they will fit into boards for the current generation (Epyc Genoa / Bergamo with cores Zen 4 / Zen 4c).
