Redmi launched a cheap gaming monitor A27Q with a frequency of 100Hz

--

Company Redmi has a lot of products on offer and gaming monitors are among them. One of them is a new model A27Q 2025. Its name already suggests that it has a 27″ diagonal. Its IPS-type panel has a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a higher refresh rate of 100 Hz (the older model had 75 Hz). It is not an extremely high frequency, but it is still more than 60 Hz for regular monitors.

But the low price is understandably reflected in low-end specifications, such as maximum brightness of 250 nits, support for 8-bit colors (16.7 million shades), 178° viewing angles, 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and 100% coverage of sRGB. The responses are not the shortest, they are 6 ms, which is quite enough for a gaming monitor, so let’s expect a color accuracy of Delta E<2.

The monitor has DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack and allows for wall mounting. There are two USB-A ports and one USB-C port. The introductory price is 749 yuan (CZK 2,400 in exchange rate conversion), but the regular price in China will be 999 yuan (CZK 3,200). If it reaches us, we can expect a slightly higher price (probably between 4 and 5 thousand), but it is not yet clear whether it will also appear in Europe. It is possible, another monitor from Redmi company, model A27i with Full HD resolution, is available here.
