Coordinated strikes by Ukrainian drones, anti-tank weapons and artillery caused enormous losses on the part of the enemy, writes the local southern section of the RIA website.
Of course, the Russians try to disguise their advance as best they can, but the terrain gives them only minimal opportunities to hide from the Ukrainian defenders. Regardless, it is clear that with the current stockpiles of ammunition, after Ukraine has not received the promised support of the US and Europe, its troops will not be able to stop the Russians and will slowly retreat, at the cost of huge human losses.
The third independent assault brigade was created de facto on the ruins of the Azov combat regiment, which fought against separatists and Russian troops since 2014. It made its most significant mark in the history of the war in Ukraine at the beginning of a full-scale invasion, when it defended the Ukrainian city of Mariupol against an incomparably more numerous enemy.
After months of resistance, during which he gave the Ukrainian army much-needed time to regroup, he surrendered to the enemy under encirclement on the orders of President Volodymyr Zelensky. Many of his fighters are still in Russian captivity, others were executed without trial or sentenced in political trials to decades behind bars.
