This year, Plzeň is once again announcing a call for proposals for the awarding of the 2023/2024 School Year Award for pedagogues and operational employees of Pilsen elementary and kindergarten schools. Proposals can be sent by their directors and, in selected categories, by the public until May 13.
A total of six categories are announced:
1. Award for lifelong contribution to education (“hall of fame”) – category open to the public.
2. Primary school teacher of the year – open category for the public
3. Kindergarten teacher of the year – open category for the public
4. Operational employee of the year – open category for the public
5. Patron of Pilsen education
6. Extraordinary achievement of the Pilsen education system – open category for the public
Nominations for the award must be submitted in writing or electronically (the form can be downloaded here). Part of the application is a justification for why the candidate was nominated for the award.
